Maipú Vineyards

In Maipú, Mendoza, 850 metres above sea level, potassium rich-alluvial soil, pure irrigation water from the melting snow of the neighbouring Andes, little rainfall and excellent thermal range are the exceptional natural conditions for growing quality grapes, and the source of extraordinary wines. The newest grapevines are conducted by 3/5 wire trellises with general orientation NNE-SSW, the older vineyards are conducted by a 1,8 meter high overhanging parral type conduction system, both are watered by the traditional flood irrigation method. Canopy control is performed to correct fruit maturity and sugar content. Over the past few years we have cemented firm relationships with the main regional grape producers. We spend time in their premises thus ensuring that grape growing and harvesting take place under strict high quality standards. We strongly believe that in order to produce wine consistently, it is necessary to have a complimentary working relationship with our grape suppliers.
